I am Coleen, currently doing my exchange semester in CETT University in Barcelona. One of the main purposes of our e-Marketing course is to learn how to have an effective online marketing and by the use of SEO. In the YouTube video below you can find out what is SEO and explaining how to it works and why it is important to pay attention to it.

Even before I left for my exchange studies, I was already looking forward to live in Barcelona and enjoy wide varieties of food. During our first day here, we found this awesome restaurant near by my apartment which is a Peruvian street food Restaurant, Tomaya Street Food. The food was so good and they have sweet potato fries which is my favorite, so this Resto became a favorite of mine instantly.   

I like to go on walks and stumble upon small cafes and enjoying the view and some time alone. Here is a cafe I went o after I went to church on Sunday. Had delicious pastry and cut of coffee.


I went to couple of cafes to meet up with my friends, either to do project or just hang out. Here is Cafe Alsur Lluria which is located in Eixample area. It its quite busy place but is understandable as the food is good and have good service as well. It is good for a brunch place offering good food like smoothie bowls, toasts, pancakes and many more.

Growing up I loved seeing my dad cook without any recipe on hand and I guess that's what made love food. I have always been curious and now it turned to a profession. I work as a cook/chef in a hotel in Finland, Kämp Hotel. I worked first in an Asian Fusion Restaurant, Yume owned by the Hotel and then in the main production for 4 years now.



Missing our bonding. We like to cook for friends, one time we made spinach tacos from scratch. It was so messy to make but it was really fun. We like to have these as our bonding, cooking the food from our country for each other.

During a typical day when I have classes, I usually wake up around 7 and head to school. My classes usually end by 14:30 but of course it depends on the day. I like to have some coffee after classes with my friends and head home. Then make myself my go-to snack which is avocado toast, which is very quick and easy to make. can be topped with Jamon or eggs or cherry tomatoes.

                    

I would go for a walk around the neighborhood and get lost and eventually find my way home. While walking, finding cool shops and just go window shopping. I like to study, while I play music in the background. Lately I have been listening to Lo-fi music. Here are some playlists I like to listen to.


                                              


I end my day by cooking dinner for my self. I bought a wok from Chinese store near by my apartment and it has become very handy for me, cooking stir fry and pretty much anything. I cooked stir-fry veggies, noodles, beef broccoli, spaghetti, etc. I will put the recipe sometime in this blog.

                  
  

Doing this internship, I have learned a lot. Being in a new place, unfamiliar city, meeting new people. As my friend Alexandra talks in her blog, you always have to try to live outside of your comfort zone. By doing that, you help your self grow and gain more experience, that you will have with you for the rest of your life.



By moving to Bilbao, I went out of my comfort work and I am happy that I did so. I gained mentors and friends. I learned about the culture and had the chance to interact with different people.
